Friskney Show 2016

An enthusiastic group of Club members gathered early on the morning of 12th June to set up the stand for Friskney Show.  The weather forecast was not promising but this did not deter the keenness of the group.  The stand was soon set up and the public began to arrive.  We were kept busy explaining the Club to people and most important of all selling raffle tickets.  This would be the last time we would be able to sell tickets as the draw was being made later in the afternoon.
Sure enough the rains came later and a small tornado swept through the showground. Our new gazebo weathered the storm with the help of a lot of people hanging on to it!!
Just after 4 pm the draw was made for the lucky winners of the raffle and all that remained was to pack up and head home.
Winning tickets of the clubs Grand Prize Raffle were drawn out by Andrew Shaw from Duckworth Landrover.
