Announcement
Mablethorpe and District Motor Club will organise the Gerry Blythe Memorial Classic Car Tour on Sunday 6th September 2026. The event will be held under the General Regulations of Motorsport UK (incorporating the provisions of the International Sporting Code of the FIA) and these supplementary regulations and any other instructions the organising club may issue for the event.
Permit
This event will run as a Touring Car Assembly. Permit No. tbc.

Eligibility
This event is open to all vintage, classic and ‘modern classic’ cars. Entrants must ensure that the vehicle has, where required, a valid MOT test certificate, road tax & a valid certificate of insurance for the event.Start Venue
The start venue has been provided at Horncastle Garden Centre, Lincoln Road, Horncastle, LN9 5LY (what3words: albatross.visit.beauty) where tea/coffee will be provided with your entry fee.
Finish Venue
The finish venue is at The Buzz Stop, Beehive Business Park, Rand, Market Rasen, LN8 5NJ (what3words: carefully.lakes.unfair) where tea/coffee and cakes will be provided for your refreshment (included in your entry fee). You will also receive a commemorative ‘Classic’ Rally Plate as a memento of the event; this is included in the entry fee.
Fuel
Near the start venue, fuel is available from the Shell Garage on A158 in Horncastle towards Skegness. The nearest fuel station to the finish venue is Wragby Road Service Station, Wragby Rd E, North Greetwell, Lincoln LN2 4QY.
Route
The route will total approximately 100 miles taking in rural country roads. A descriptive roadbook will be provided at the start with points of interest marked. Cars will start at 1-minute intervals with the first car leaving at 10.31am. There will be an approximate 1-hour break at half-way where parking, refreshments and toilets will be available. Picnics are welcome if you prefer.
Signing-On
This will take place at the start venue from 9.30am onwards. All crews to have completed signing-on by 10:15am. Driver’s briefing will take place at approximately 10:15am.
Entries
The entry list opens with the publication of these regulations and closes on Sunday 6th September 2026 at 10:15am. Entries will be accepted in order of receipt, however running order for the day will be oldest to newest vehicle. Maximum number of entries is 50 and Mablethorpe and District Motorclub reserves the right to cancel the event if the minimum entry of 15 cars is not achieved.
The entry fee is £35 which includes roadbook, commemorative rally plate, tea/coffee at the start and tea/coffee and cake at the finish for one driver and one passenger. Additional passengers will be charged at £9.00 per passenger.

Your entry will be acknowledged by email, upon receipt of the completed entry form. Please be advised that the acknowledgement of receipt of entry fee may take longer due to other commitments, however please consider your entry accepted upon receipt of acknowledgement e-mail.
